Seven years on from their murder, tributes have been laid at their memorials at Hyde Police Station and at The Hub in Hattersley.
The officers were on duty when they were killed by Dale Cregan, after responding to a false burglary report at Abbey Gardens in Mottram.
They were 32 and 23 years old.
To mark the tragic anniversary friends, family and colleagues gathered at Hyde Police Station this morning for a service held in their memory.
A number of floral tributes and messages have also been left at a memorial at the entrance of The Hub in Hattersley.
An album of photos from the service has been shared by Greater Manchester Police, with the words: "Today marks seven years since our colleagues, PC Fiona Bone and PC Nicola Hughes, were tragically killed on duty.
"At 10.53am, we joined their families, colleagues and loved ones at Hyde police station to remember our brave officers who made the ultimate sacrifice."
