A man has been taken to hospital after a car crash in Stalybridge this morning.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service confirmed they were called at 7:20am to reports of a road traffic accident close to Bridge Street.
Two fire engines and a technical response unit were deployed to the scene where they found a man trapped in one of the vehicles.
He was conscious and breathing and after stabilizing the vehicle, they extracted him and took him to hospital.
The scene was cleared by 8:45am.
