
A man was found dead near Hyde bus station on Saturday morning (9 April), police have confirmed.
Greater Manchester Police said they were initially called to reports of a concern for welfare.
The man is believed to have suffered a medical episode and was found dead near the bus station in the town centre.
There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances, a GMP spokesperson has said.
The bus station was cordoned off by police for several hours with all stands closed and diversions in place around local stops, before fully reopening at around midday.
Police, forensic crews and paramedics were witnessed at the scene.
