A man has been found dead on a street in Denton, police have confirmed.
Greater Manchester Police said they received a report at around 6.30pm on Wednesday (24 August) about concern for the welfare of a male on Town Lane.
Emergency services - including paramedics and firefighters - attended and a 58-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
A GMP spokesperson added that there are believed to be no suspicious circumstances and a report is being prepared for the coroner.
The street was cordoned off for several hours, with investigators seen working around a block of flats.
