A man has died after a car crashed in Dukinfield on Friday night (10 December).
Emergency services were called at around 11.10pm to reports of a collision involving a red Mercedes GLA 200 on Birch Lane.
A 26-year-old man was taken to hospital where he later died, Greater Manchester Police say.
They add that enquiries are ongoing and no arrests have been made.
Sergeant Matthew Waggett, of GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit, said: "Our thoughts go out to the family of this young man following this tragic incident.
"We are continuing our enquiries and hopeful that there were witnesses who may have information about the collision that could prove a great help with our investigation.
"We are particularly keen to speak to people who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage in the vicinity of Birch Lane in the lead up or directly after the incident."
