A 24-year-old man has been charged in connection with an assault of an elderly man in Hyde.
Nathan Taylor-Schonhut has been charged with section 18 wounding with intent, two counts of section 47 assault and two counts of section 39 assault.
He has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Tameside Magistrates' Court on Thursday (2 December).
Greater Manchester Police were called shortly before 2pm on Tuesday afternoon (30 November) to a report of 'a disturbance' on Oldham Street.
Enquiries established that an elderly man and four other people had been assaulted.
The 70-year-old man remains in hospital in a stable condition.
