A 34-year-old man has been charged in connection with a burglary in Denton.
Jeffrey Robert Lee, of Brinnington in Stockport, was arrested on Monday (8 March) and subsequently charged the following day.
He has been charged with a burglary dwelling, dangerous driving, possession of a bladed article (a machete), perverting the course of justice and a fraudulent use of a registration mark.
They're in relation to a burglary on St Lawrence Road last Saturday (6 March) and subsequent events involving a road traffic collision.
Lee was remanded in police custody to appear in court on Tuesday (9 March) and was further remanded into custody by the court to appear at Minshull Street Crown Court on 6 April.
