A 23-year-old man has been charged after a shotgun and 16 cartridges were seized by police in Hyde.
Greater Manchester Police’s Tameside South and West team said the firearm and ammunition were recovered during a raid of a house on Ash Tree Road in the Newton area on Wednesday (15 September).
A man was subsequently arrested on suspicion of firearm offences.

Liam Sanders, of Ash Tree Road, Hyde, has since been charged with possession of a firearm, possession of ammunition and possession of a Class B drug.
He has been remanded into custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester Magistrates' Court on Thursday (16 September).
