A man has been charged after a firearms incident on Ashton New Road.
Stewart Bowden (12/06/1980) of Canberra Street, Clayton has been charged with possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
He will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on 6 August 2019.
It happened at 10.45pm on Saturday 27 July 2019 when police were called to a report of a fight at Clayton Conservative Club. During the fight a firearm was produced.
On Monday 29 July, armed police arrested a man on suspicion of firearm offences.
