A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson following an incident on Bollington Street in Ashton-under-Lyne on Wednesday morning.
In a statement, a spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: "The incident on Bollington Street was reported at around 7am on Wednesday, January 18. A man has been arrested on suspicion of arson and has been taken to hospital for treatment for smoke inhalation.
"Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service also attended."
