A man has been arrested after a woman was robbed at a cash machine in Ashton town centre.
The female was taking out money from the ATM at the Halifax bank in the Arcades Shopping Centre just before 10am on Monday morning (11 January).
She was approached by a man, who pushed her out of the way and stole the cash she had just withdrawn.
Greater Manchester Police's Tameside North and East team said on Facebook: "The incident was reported to police who attended the location immediately to support the female and investigate the incident. The male has now been arrested and is in custody awaiting interview."
