A man has been arrested following a knife attack in Ashton town centre yesterday.
Police were called to Stamford Street Central at around 2.11pm where they found an 18-year-old man with slash wounds to the back.
He was taken to hospital and a police cordon set up at the scene.
Now, police have arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of section 18 assault and he remains in custody for questioning.
