Lots planned at Mottram Parish Church

Mottram Parish Church has planned a long weekend of events and there will be plenty going on.

It's all happening from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 September and revolves around what's being called 'The Picture Show 2'.

Paintings by Joan and Ben Walker and Anne Harrey will be on show and on sale, with a wine and nibbles preview evening from 6pm to 9pm on Friday.

There's also storytelling from the legends of Longdendale.

The Grade Two listed church will be open to explore from 10am to 4pm on Saturday and 12pm to 4pm on Sunday, with refreshments to enjoy.

There's organised tours of the church on both days, with children's activities and 'tours of the bells' on Saturday.
