Thursday (2 February) is Time To Talk Day, which has been running on the first Thursday in February since its inception in 2007.
Having a conversation has the power to change lives, and Tameside Oldham & Glossop Mind is marking the day with a whole series of events at their offices on Katherine Street in Ashton.
Pop in for coffee and cake, take part in craft activities, or talk stress and what to do when you feel overwhelmed.
Alex caught up with Jason Bromley from TOG Mind to find out more about what's planned, plus details of their poetry competition running at the moment which your children can get involved in.
