Other road closures to be aware of
The A57 Snake Pass is closed to through traffic from Monday (26 September) for four weeks, to allow specialist contractors to carry out an investigation into the causes of the latest landslip.
There will be no way through from one side to the other, but there will be turning places at either end of the physical closure, which is about 3.8 miles from the Royal Oak at the Glossop end, and 2.7 miles from the Fairholmes Visitor Centre at the other.
