Curzon Ashton have signed defender Josh Askew on a season-long loan from Salford City.
Despite his relatively young age, Josh joins the club with a wealth of experience, having started his career at Blackburn Rovers before enjoying loan spells with Ramsbottom United and Warrington Town.
Upon his release from Rovers, Josh joined Salford City ahead of the 2017/18 season. During his time at the Peninsula Stadium, the former Audenshaw School pupil helped the Ammies win promotion to the National League in 2018. He did, however, spend periods on loan last season with Stockport County and Ashton United.
Josh becomes the latest player to have signed for the Nash, following the arrival of defender/midfielder Andy Halls, wingers Jack Banister and Kallum Mantack, and midfielder Robbie Evans.
The club has also signed a host of other players which can be found here: http://www.curzon-ashton.co.uk/home
