Join in an autumn litter pick in Denton

An autumnal tidy up of Jackson Gardens in Denton has been organised and people are being invited to join in.

The Friends of Labroke Wood have arranged it for Saturday 10 September, meeting at the garages at the bottom of Jackson Gardens at 10.30am.

They said: "After the summer holidays and as we move into the autumn, we felt it would be the right time to hold another litter pick. The last few litter picks we’ve had have been really successful and have been held at key intervals throughout the year.

"We can provide pickers and bags but feel free to bring your own. We hope you will be able to join us."
