Joe has high hopes for the new season

Avro striker Joe Bevan says he can't wait for the new season to begin.

Following back-to-back promotions, Avro are preparing for life in the North West Counties Premier Division, which begins on Saturday, August 3 against Longridge Town at the Vestacare Stadium.

Bevan, who was the club's top scorer last season, currently has an injury but is confident of returning to fitness in time for the season opener.

As well looking for a third successive promotion, Avro will also be making their FA Cup debut this season.

We've been speaking to Joe about his views on the season and also hearing about his new company, Sport First Coaching, which delivers sport provision at Greswell Primary School, Denton.
