A burglar caught breaking into Stalybridge's Tesco store four times and stealing a number of goods has been jailed.
Simon Hawe was sentenced to 12 weeks in prison and ordered to pay £263 in compensation, after appearing at Tameside Magistrates' Court.
The 39-year-old prised open a fire door to gain access to the warehouse section of the Trinity Street store on Sunday 23 January, before selecting items and leaving.
He was then seen to return a further three times, again taking goods.
Hawe was later identified on CCTV by staff and police before being arrested, charged and remanded to court.
