Residents are being invited to a community get-together in Mossley.
It's taking place at Mossley Community Orchard on Stockport Road from 2pm to 4pm on Sunday 12 September.
Operation Farm, a local food project in Tameside, says people can 'rock up for apple inspired grub, juice and Rob's cider' as well as find out more about the orchard and how to get involved in maintenance days throughout the seasons.
A new orchard sign - made by local artist Colin Rowe - will also be unveiled at 2.30pm by local gardening and nature star at 'Green Fingered George'.

Mossley Community Orchard was planted in 2012 with the help of various community groups, organisations and many local volunteers.
