Christopher Rowles of Hickenfield Road, Hyde has been charged with theft, assault and burglary.
The 35-year-old was remanded ahead of his next appearance at Tameside Magistrates' Court on Friday 23 February 2024.
These charges are a result of investigation by GMP Tameside's Neighbourhood Crime Team into a burglary on Frederick Street in Ashton-under-Lyne from December 2023 and a shoplifting assault in Hyde from February 2024.
