Hunt for speeding driver who crashed in Stalybridge

Police want to speak to the male driver of this vehicle after being involved in a collision on Cheetham Hill Road in Stalybridge.

The driver of the black Peugeot 107 has been captured on CCTV driving dangerously and overtaking vehicles at speed when it collided with another vehicle which sent him into a spin.

The vehicle then collided with a lamp post.

Luckily, no-one was seriously injured.

The driver managed to get out of the vehicle and make off towards Stalybridge on foot.

Police have seized the vehicle and are continuing to gather CCTV from the local area.

Anyone who has any information is asked to get in touch, quoting log 1974-25072020.
