As part of GMP's Operation Diamond, officers from Tameside's Prevention Hub team seized counterfeit goods from three Droylsden stores and an abandoned vehicle earlier today, April 30.
A total of 147 illegal vapes and 1,724 cigarettes were seized along with 1.95kg of tobacco, worth an estimated value of £2,613.
A further 57 illicit packets of cigarettes and 11 tobacco pouches were also seized from an abandoned vehicle found by officers in a TMBC car park on Market Street, which they believe is being used to store products.
