Guide Bridge Theatre has received an official safety seal as part of a national industry scheme to revive live performances.
The Society of London Theatre and UK Theatre launched the See it Safely scheme in October 2020 to support re-opening event spaces.
When audiences see the seal, they can be assured that the venue is consistent in their approach to covid safety and implementation of the latest public health guidelines.
To be awarded and display the seal, an organisation must complete a toolkit and sign up to a code of conduct. If they are approved, it means they’re demonstrating that safety forms the foundation of their re-opening plans.
Other theatres across Greater Manchester who have completed the scheme are: AO Arena, HOME, Hope Mill Theatre, Opera House, Palace Theatre, Royal Exchange, St Andrews Church, The Stoller Hall and Whitefield Garrick Theatre.
Guide Bridge Theatre can proudly present the safety mark at their first theatrical event of the year, Conan by Candlelight, scheduled for October 20. Tickets can be booked here
The theatre also has upcoming pantomime auditions on July 10. Those interested can contact jennyhsavill@hotmail.com
