A 21-year-old from Gorton is one of four men who have been charged after an armed robbery at a supermarket in New Moston.
Lawrence Ward, of Ryder Brow Road, has been charged with one count of robbery and four counts of failing to appear.
He has been remanded in custody to appear before Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday 8 July.
The supermarket on Moston Lane East was robbed by an armed gang at around 10pm on Monday evening (June 8).
Craig Wilson, 27, of Crammond Close in Manchester, has been charged with one count of robbery and has been remanded in custody to appear before Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday 8 July.
Kane Joyce, 25, of no fixed address, has been charged with one count of robbery and has been bailed to appear before Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday 8 July.
Bradley Pitt, 24, of no fixed address, has been charged with one count of robbery and has been bailed to appear before Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday 8 July.
