If doing more exercise and losing weight is one of your New Year resolutions, Parkruns might be just the thing for you.
The free weekly runs are open to everyone of all abilities.
Each route is 5km and, although there is no competition, runners are against the clock to complete as much of the run as possible and beat their best time.
You can walk, run or jog and it's a great chance to improve your fitness, burn some calories and smash your goals in 2020.
It starts at 9am every Saturday and are free to take part in, but you must register online beforehand.
In Tameside, there are runs at Hyde Park in Hyde and Stamford Park Boating Lake in Stalybridge.
