Police have arrested a woman as part of a murder inquiry after a man was found dead in Mossley earlier this month.
Thomas Campbell, 38, was found dead at an address on Riverside in Mossley at around 10.30am on Sunday, July 3.
Despite the best efforts of emergency services, he was pronounced dead at the scene and a murder investigation being led by detectives from GMP’s Major Incident Team continues.
Police say they arrested a 38-year-old woman yesterday on suspicion of conspiracy to murder. She remains in custody at this time for questioning.
Stephen Cleworth, 37, of Charles Street, Heywood, has previously been charged with conspiracy to commit murder. He will next appear on August 15 at Manchester Crown Court.
