Shoppers are encouraged to support their local Ashton traders who are once again taking part in the Totally Locally Fiverfest event.
The event is on now and will run until 26 March.
It is a chance for independent businesses to use their collective power to encourage people back to town centres.
It is also an opportunity to say thank you to customers who have supported them during these tough times and to prove once again that the small guys can compete with the online giants and the supermarkets.
In fact they beat them hands down in many ways, but most of all through their contribution to our local economies.
Many shops across Ashton town centre are participating along with traders at Ashton Market Hall.
