On Wednesday 13 October, families in Tameside can drop-in to the Local Offer Information Day at the Village Hotel in Ashton.
Lots of local organisations will be in attendance to discuss the services and support they can provide to families, including Active Tameside, the Together Centre, Young Carers and MIND.
The day runs from 9.30am to 12.00pm and anyone is welcome, even families that haven’t had their child formally diagnosed.
Our Kids Eyes, a charity that supplies support, activities and information to Tameside families who have children with special needs, are the organisers of the event.
They’ll also be giving families the opportunity to become a member of Tameside’s Parent Carer Forum and join a parent support group.
