A pub in Ashton will be holding a family fun day on Bank Holiday Monday (30 August) to raise money for the NHS.
The Sheldon Arms on Lord Sheldon Way have organised the event to show NHS staff "just how grateful we truly are" for their efforts throughout the coronavirus pandemic.
The pub said on its Facebook page: "All proceeds from the day's activities will be donated to our fantastic NHS who have worked tirelessly over the past 18 months to keep us, and our loved ones safe and well! Let’s all come together, and show them just how grateful we truly are."
There will be a number of things taking place including face painting, a bouncy castle, a lucky dip and a BBQ.
The pub also said anyone is welcome to dress up as a superhero of their choice.
