Pupils from Endeavour Primary Academy celebrating a positive Ofsted report

Endeavour Primary Academy in Hyde has shared the outcome of its latest Ofsted inspection.

The report notes that "Pupils are happy and safe" and that, "The school has high expectations for all pupils", reflecting the caring, ambitious and inclusive environment that enables children to flourish.

Particular strengths were identified in Early Years and Personal Development, both of which were graded Strong. Inspectors commented that "Children are expertly supported to get off to a flying start in their education," recognising the exceptional foundations established from the very beginning of a child's school journey.

The report also acknowledges the school's success in developing well-rounded young people, noting that "Pupils learn to be responsible citizens and understand the importance of treating others with respect." These strengths reflect the academy's commitment to nurturing confident, caring and resilient pupils who are well prepared for life beyond the classroom.

The inspection reflects the strong relationships that are at the heart of school life, where pupils are encouraged to aim high, embrace new challenges and make positive contributions to their community. It recognises the commitment of staff, governors and families in creating a culture where every child feels valued, supported and inspired to succeed.

Principal, Carol Rhodes said: "We are incredibly proud of this outcome and of everyone who contributes to life at Endeavour Primary Academy. The report reflects the enthusiasm of our pupils, the dedication of our staff and the strong support of our families.

"We are especially pleased that the strength of our Early Years provision and Personal Development curriculum has been recognised. Above all, it celebrates the positive environment we have created together, where children feel happy, safe and encouraged to be the very best version of themselves."

This outcome is a testament to the collective efforts of the entire school community. The report recognises that pupils are "well prepared for the next stage of their education," reflecting the academy's commitment to ensuring every child leaves Endeavour Academy equipped with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future success.
