A man who rammed a van he had stolen into a woman, causing her to go over the bonnet and end up in the road, has been jailed.
Police say Sam Dymond was driving the white van on Boodle Street in Ashton in 2017 when he got into a road rage attack, calling a woman a 'f***ing s**g' before ramming the vehicle into her.
The woman went over the bonnet and ended up on the road, before Dymond sped off, dumped the van and set it on fire.
Fortunately, the woman escaped without serious injury.
Police say Dymond is 'now where he belongs' after the 31-year-old, of Knott Lane in Oldham, was jailed for 10 months and two weeks.
He admitted dangerous driving, assault occasioning actual bodily harm and two counts of failing to attend court.
