The Tameside Radio presenter tell us all about a young Greater Manchester singer who has just released a new single.
Kaiden Nolan started off at a young age as a solo artist playing the bars and clubs of Manchester and his hometown Middleton, including being an almost resident at the iconic Carson’s Bar, Middleton’s former legendary live music venue.
He went on to form one of the city’s favourite bands of the last decade, Scuttlers.
Nationwide gigs followed, and many anthemic singles were released, including ‘There’s Nothing New’, ‘Lies In The Sky’, and the unbelievable ‘Leaders Of A Lost Generation’, a song that in my opinion is one of the greatest anthems of all time.
But after four years, Scuttlers suddenly and sadly called it a day.
Being the well known and respected man about town he is, Kaiden Nolan has wasted no time in launching a solo career.
His new single ‘Move’ is available now, and has seen him enter a dance / rock phase, with a self-produced single that in his own words ‘marries the alternative sounds of Foals and The XX with 80’s disco beats by Gino Soccio and Giorgio Moroder’.
The song tells the story of moving on, making difficult decisions, and learning to deal with difficult circumstances, alongside a Nolan style disco groove. The song pretty much has everything. It’s cool, has good vibes, has a great beat, and is relatable.
Kaiden is a hard working musician, who I’ve had the pleasure of knowing for a long time. This new chapter of his career will be a fulfilled one I have no doubt, and a busy one too.
He plans on releasing many more singles as we head into 2023, and his talent of using multiple genres and ideas, and remaining as a self-producing artist and video producer, will mean that for his old and new fans alike, exciting times lie ahead for the 23-year-old Middletonian.
Live, Kaiden puts on a great show too, and I’m sure there will be plenty of live dates to follow.
‘Move’ is available now from all of the usual streaming platforms, it’s a song I highly recommend checking out, and Kaiden Nolan is also easy to find across all social media channels.
Some musicians deserve it all, Kaiden Nolan is one of them, and with an ever growing fanbase, exciting times lie ahead.
