Hyde United goalkeeper Peter Crook has left the club to join Boston United.
Crook joined the club from Harrogate Town ahead of the 2017/18 season and went on to make 93 appearances. As well as keeping 30 clean sheets, Crook helped the club achieve promotion to the Evo-Stik Premier Division. He also played a major role in helping the squad reach the FA Cup first round against MK Dons during the same season.
Such was his quality in goal last season, Crook was voted into the Evo-Stik Premier Division Team of the Year.
He leaves the club just a few days after some major changes were made at Hyde. Manager Darren Kelly has stepped down from his role and has instead becomes Sporting Director. Dave McGurk takes on the role as first team manager, while gas Prendergast will continue with his coaching role.
