The Civic Mayor of Tameside, Cllr Mike Glover, hosted the annual Mayor's charity ball at Dukinfield Town Hall on Saturday.
Local dignitaries together with civic representatives from across Greater Manchester were in attendance.
All proceeds from the “Spring is in the Air” themed function will be donated to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal Fund .
This year the fund is supporting the Anthony Seddon Fund, the Christie Charity, the Greater Manchester Asbestos Victims’ Support Group, and Smallshaw Tenants and Residents’ Association.
A drinks reception and entertainment from table magician Rob Bardsley and the Monday Mondays choir with their distinctive five-part harmony sound. A four-course dinner followed followed by singer Tom McLeod and dancing until midnight.
