It’s all systems go for St Marks Dukinfield Christmas Tree Festival, which takes place this weekend.
The event is in its 14th year and takes place throughout this Saturday and Sunday.
The theme for this year is “Myths, Fables and Folklore”.
The festival opens at 11am on Saturday when dozens of decorated trees will be displayed in the church.
There will also be stalls and a café in the hall serving hot and cold snacks, drinks and mulled wine.
During the afternoon there will be the added attraction of children’s entertainment which starts at 1.30pm with choirs from Ravensfield School performing and a magic show at 2pm.
On Sunday the church and hall is open for visitors from 12 noon.
Arnfield Brass Band will be performing with their Christmas concert at 2pm in the church.
