The Village Hotel in Ashton-under-Lyne is the drop-off point for Our Kids Eyes Christmas toy appeal.
Our Kids Eyes is a charity supporting over 4000 children in Tameside who have special needs. They are volunteer run, offering advice, information and events for families to enjoy together.
Charity trustee, Elaine Healey added: “Last year was a disaster, because of Covid-19 we had to cancel all our events, but this year the Village Hotel kindly offered to do a toy appeal for us.
“We’ve never had a toy appeal before so it’s really great. The appeal runs till the 26th of November, you can bring presents to the hotel reception and drop them there.
“There’s no specific type of toy we want, just anything, but sensory toys are especially good. It doesn’t matter how much they cost; we’ll make sure it gets a good home.”
The Village Hotel is located on Pamir Drive, Ashton-under-Lyne OL7 0LY.
