A charity called Children's Hospital Pyjamas is collecting pyjamas for children in hospital.
Each year just before Christmas the charity organise the appeal asking the public to purchase pyjamas for children in hospital.
This year is the charity’s tenth year of collecting, with the appeal running until December 8.
Julie Bell, herself from Denton, is Manchester Area Coordinator for the charity.
The pyjamas help clothe children taken into hospital for a whole range of reasons.
“The stories we have had from families who have received our donations are truly humbling,” she said, with the items going to children brought in through accidents, emergencies or via social services.
Donation points are at:
- Blooms and Balloons, 103 Haughton Green Road, Denton, M34 7GR.
- Karma Hair and Beauty, Rupert Street, Reddish, SK5 7AP.
There is also an Amazon wish list where people can purchase brand new pairs of PJs and they are delivered directly to the charity's collection address. You can view it here: https://amzn.eu/9iYAZ0j
