Police in Tameside are searching for a burglar who stole high value gold jewellery from a house last week.
The break-in on James Drive, Hyde, took place at around 7:55pm on Tuesday January 28, with the culprit escaping in ‘an unknown direction’.
GMP’s Tameside South Neighbourhood Team have appealed for witnesses and neighbours to come forward with CCTV, dashcam and doorbell footage to help identify the thief.
Anybody with information should call the police’s non-emergency 101 number, quoting the crime reference CRI/06GG/0001812/25.
The burglary follows a similar theft on adjoining Clock Tower Close on the evening of December 5.
