Bumper Book Sale coming up at Stalybridge Library

Stalybridge Library is to hold a two-day Bumper Book Sale of old stock this month.

The clearance will include books of all genres, with most priced at 5 for £1.

" On the 14 and 16 of September there'll be loads of much-loved withdrawn library books for sale to make space for new fresh stock,” said a statement from Tameside Libraries.

It follows on from successful similar sales earlier in the year at other libraries in Tameside.

Before the clean out, though, Stalybridge Library will be closed on Thursday 5 and Friday 6 September for ‘essential maintenance’.
