Serious Road Traffic Collision closes Talbot Road, Hyde.
Around a dozen emergency vehicles descended to the scene near St Mary's Newton Parish Hall just before 6pm this evening.
Emergency crews from fire, ambulance and police remain at the scene with Talbot Road closed from the junctions of Cartwright Street and Bower Court to Ferndale.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area if possible.
