A 23-year-old man has been found dead in a block of flats in Stalybridge, police have confirmed.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said they were called to Thompson Court, on Thompson Fold, at around 3.45pm on Tuesday afternoon (6 July) over concerns for the welfare of a man.
They said paramedics also attended but the man's body was found on arrival.
Police are investigating the circumstances into the man's death and there is due to be a post-mortem today (Wednesday).
