The body of a man in his 20s has been discovered on a street in Ashton.
Greater Manchester Police say they were called at around 1pm on Thursday afternoon (24 June) to Portland Street South to concerns about the welfare of a man.
Paramedics from North West Ambulance Service also attended but sadly the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
GMP believe there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.
