Police have called off the search for missing Tameside man Paul Ryan after a body was found.
Paul Ryan was last seen at around 9pm on Manchester Road in Denton on 1 December 2021 - the day of his mother's funeral, which he did not attend.
That evening, he was pictured on CCTV in the Asda store on Cavendish Street in Ashton.
Just after 1pm on Thursday (3 March), officers were called to a report of a body found at Audenshaw Reservoir.
The body has not yet been formally identified, but is thought to be Paul.
His family are aware, Greater Manchester Police have said.
There are believed to be no suspicious circumstances and a report is being prepared for HM Coroner.
