There's still time for people to sign up to enjoy an American drive-in movie experience whilst supporting Willow Wood Hospice.
The Ashton-based hospice is offering the experience of watching a great movie from the comfort of your own car, in return for making a donation to support the hospice's work.
It promises to be a fun and exciting day, suitable for all of the family.
There will be three screenings on Saturday 15 August at Great Academy Ashton (formerly New Charter Academy) on Broadoak Road.
The first will be 'Grease' at 1pm and then again at 6.30pm. In between, there will be a showing of Monsters Inc at 4pm. Both movies were voted for by Willow Wood supporters.
There will be pizza, toasties, hot dogs, popcorn and candy floss, as well as hot and cold drinks available. People should call 07734 662230 to pre-order pizza if they want it and arrive 30 minutes before the film begins.
It's being advised that tickets should be booked online in advance by clicking here, but drive-in slots may also be available on the day.
A suggested donation is £25 per car per film.
