Kayla Bell and Siobhan Fitzpatrick have been selected to represent Great Britain's Under 25 Wheelchair Basketball team in Thailand.
Kayla and Siobhan visited Tameside College last month as part of the Athlete Inspire Programme. They took part in a question and answer session before taking to court and playing in a match against some of the lucky students.
Both athletes were faced with adversity as youngsters but overcame their challenges and eventually went on to represent GB.
Kayla and Siobhan's efforts on court over the past year have now been rewarded with selection to the Under 25 squad. They will travel to Thailand in the hope of defending their title, having claimed back-to-back U24 Championship titles (2016 & 2018) and the 2015 Under 25 World Championship title.
The competition will be taking place between 23-28 May. It will be the third edition of the Women's U25 World Championships, with the previous two being hosted in Beijing, China in 2015 and Toronto, Canada in 2011.
