A special memorial service is being held in Audenshaw this weekend for parents and relatives who have experienced miscarriage, death of a baby or the loss of an infant.
The Baby Memorial Service is being held at Trinity Church on Audenshaw Road, on Saturday (November 30) at 2pm.
Organised by Rebecca Higgins, there will be special speakers, guests and bereavement support information available.
Rebecca said: "The purpose of the service is to set aside a little time to share thoughts, light candles and read aloud the names of those babies who have meant so much but who we no longer have in our arms.
"Some families will come to remember a recent loss. Others will come to remember a baby who died many years ago. All are welcome, whatever the circumstances."
Following the short service, there will be an opportunity to have refreshments with other parents, relatives, chaplains and maternity staff.
