The Friends of King George V Playing Fields' "Keep Fit Path" will be closing temporarily, as it receives an upgrade.
Chairman Alan Fish said the path is "worn out" in parts and will be widened, making it more accessible for those in wheelchairs. The outdoor gym equipment will also be getting a transformation.
The path was initially installed in 2013 by the Friends, with the assistance of the Community Payback Teams and a grant from Veolia.
