An Ashton man has been given a 12 months suspended jail sentence for stealing tools worth £100.
Craig Hadfield, 28, of Hope Street, pleaded guilty to the charge when he appeared before Stockport magistrates.
The court heard the theft had happened from a property on Princess Street in Ashton on June 8.
Magistrates sentenced him to a 12 weeks jail term, suspended for 12 months.
He was handed a 12 weeks curfew order, meaning he must remain at his address between the hours of 6pm and 8am each night for the duration of the order.
He was also instructed to pay £100 compensation.
