A film crew descended on Ashton town centre for two days this week with the action centred around Market Avenue.
Argenti Jewellers was given a makeover to become Bentham Jewellers for the ITV drama Ridley, currently filming its second series.
The star of the series, Adrian Dunbar - well known from Line of Duty - recorded scenes on Monday 25 September. The day before, the avenue was closed off to record some high octane stunt work involving motorbikes.
